Series 1/Chapter 4: THE SEEING SPELL

Image
The Seeing Spell Savannah's port-side docks were like a murky world of fog and mists once the sun disappeared beyond the Western horizon. In the cool air of the early summer night the sweet smell of far off Magnolia trees and ocean sea salt filled the air around the wooden docks that ached with the pains of the heaving ocean tide.  Walking along the misty dock on this evening was the witch going by the mortal name of Morgan Isles  sent by Caspian to reignite the prophecy of giving him an heir to his evil world, an heir that beyond his knowledge still existed in the form of Cressida's son the comatose and bewitched Caleb Craine.  Morgan breathed in a large dose of sea air and grinned as the moon beamed down a glow of blue light down on her beautiful face. She had her own plans that could derail Caspian's plot altogether. She had a feeling that Caspian himself was tricking her into leading him to Caleb in which case her still unconceived child would be irrelevant--to be the...

Cressida's home  In the little two-story brick townhouse on the Willow-tree lined avenue just three blocks from Savannah's infamous Broadway Street, Dr. Gabrielle Loures stood shocked at the photo her fellow coven member, Cressida Craine, held in front of her.  It wasn't just of Cressida and her son Caleb as a baby, it was Cressida, Caleb and a secret second baby girl. Caleb wasn't the only child Cressida bore with Caspian, the dark lord; she secretly had twins: The two precious " Coins " as Caspian referred to his spawn were alive and well, and he had no idea. "Why didn't you tell us there were two? How could you have kept this from us?" Gabrielle asked, her voice raised in the shock of the moment. Cressida felt awful about hiding the truth but, she knew it was the only way to Caspian away. A secret is only safe if it's truly under lock and key. "Mae knew. She was there when they were born. We couldn't tell you, Gabi, it was too dan...

Series 1/Chapter 2: MURDER OF CROWS

Spring days in Savannah often act like tricks of the mind. The beauty of clear sky and appealing warm air soon becomes a fading memory as the mists of the Atlantic sea roll in covering the harbor in a glow of gray and white.  In front of the Hotel Saint Filipe in downtown Savannah, Caitlyn Frost and her boyfriend Nicholas Falconer had just arrived from Portland, Maine. Caitlyn was eager to get to the bottom of her strange and secret adoption when a private investigator had lead them to this southern city to get more information; but Nick had apprehensions. Nick had a deep intuition that was passed down from his native ancestors. HIs whole psyche was in touch with the planet and nature and these messages about being in Savannah were passed to him, and they were blaring like alarms, his love for Caitlyn was the only thing keeping him there. He knew that whatever was coming in these warnings--he would protect her. He was the only man she trusted and he would stay by her side no matter...
